Malia Rogers (she/her) is a Nova Scotian actor, multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and arts administrator who now makes home in Ontario. Malia holds an MA in Theatre & Performance Studies from York University and is passionate about theatre as a catalyst for critical discussion, for reaching across differences and finding shared humanity, and for effecting social change. Recent performance credits include Neptune Theatre's Argyle Street Kitchen Party -- a theatre-concert hybrid featuring a revue of songs from the East Coast -- and Theatre of the Beat's internationally-touring musical Selah's Song. At present, Malia is co-writing her first musical for the 2024 Ottawa Fringe and simultaneously recording an independent folk album slated for release in Summer 2024. In her spare time, she loves baking sourdough bread, learning new instruments, and running alongside the river near her home in Ottawa.
