LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

As a touring organization and as people living and working in many communities across Turtle Island, we recognize that we are on land promised to others. We recognize all the original caretakers and stewards of the land we have visited and honour their historic connection to this place. We also recognize the contributions Indigenous peoples have made in shaping and strengthening this country. We are grateful and thankful for the opportunity to perform on this land.

Our organization calls Whitchurch-Stouffville, Kitchener-Waterloo, and Tkaronto home. As people in the Whitchurch-Stouffville community, we acknowledge that we live and work in the Williams Treaty Traditional Territory of the Anishinaabe, Wendat, and Ojibwe peoples.  As people in the Kitchener-Waterloo community, we acknowledge that we live and work on the Haldimand Tract. Our office in Tkaronto is located on Treaty 13, the land promised to ‎the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, Wendat, and Neutral peoples. As a touring company, we acknowledge that we work on the Treaty 4 Traditional Territory of the Cree, Saulteaux First Nations of the Ojibwe peoples, and the Assiniboine.

The Intersex-Inclusive Pride flag was created by activist Valentino Vecchietti (she/they) in 2021
