REHEARSING FOR REALITY with FORUM THEATRE
Have you ever rehearsed what you would say before going into a difficult conversation? Augusto Boal’s Forum Theatre takes that concept to the next level! Forum Theatre is a form of improv-based, Applied Theatre designed to create safe spaces for non-actors to “rehearse for revolution” or “reality.” Check out some of the topics we’ve already explored below, but if you don’t see what you’re looking for, please reach out!
Our team of trained practitioners can work with you to create scenes unique to the issues faced within your community, allowing participants to practice what they’d say or how’d they’d react in difficult conversations or situations of oppression.
