Sara May jarvie-clark
Sara May Jarvie-Clark is a theatre artist and musician based in Toronto. She is a graduate of Concordia University’s Theatre and Development Program. Creating broadly across the folk arts, she wears multiple hats as a songwriter, violinist, actor, deviser, puppeteer, director and writer. Her work builds worlds inspired by classical literature and philosophy to explore the arcane and unconscious aspects of desire in the contemporary cultural psyche. Recent credits include; composition/sound design for Thousand Islands Playhouse’s production of “Sexual Misconduct Of The Middle Classes” (September, 2023), a multimedia puppet show “Mass Exodus”, incubated at Tarragon Theater (January, 2023), Theatre Of The Beats folk musical “Selah’s Song” (2022) and a directorial scene study at The Stratford Festival (2021) via The Michael Langham Directors’ Workshop. She is currently working on her second studio album; “Meadow Under The Hill.”
